It's not even possible if you pay you have to have specifily the fragment gun 12 to complete it, I have 400 points and only 14 missions left and 5 of those mission require use fragment 12 gun and 1 other to make a purchase, the fragment gun is only available through event crates right now so near impossible to get even if I bought an event ticket,

It is barely possible if you make a "in-game purchase".
i stopped following the tournaments just play, no euro no euro for tournaments., the system needs to be changed, when you see a 100k experience go to the standings in 2 hours, when i was first in an event after 6 days of play. bheee....just because this one uses the low hangar system?.
No thanks as long as they allow 7-star players to keep the hangar low and excel in all tournaments no thanks, give preference to the smart ones who don't spend, but all earn in this way, ...don't worry so much and everything is piloted.
How can i do DERBY EVENT day 5 ? I dont have Fragment Gun 12!!! DERBY EVENT day 12 ? I dont have KILLSHOT!!! WHAT IS THAT FOR EVENT !!!
There are some events where they're obviously carefully designed so that if you're a P2W player you have it much easier, but it's still possible for a F2P player to complete. It just takes more grinding and sometimes a bit of luck. Obviously someone was thinking about it.
That's the way to do it - it leaves an incentive to buy, but it doesn't frustrate the F2P gamers enough to give up. While they're not a direct income source for the devs, they are free 'AI' for their paying customers to compete with. Anyone who has been pinned in a corner or inconveiently shoved aside by a bot knows it's easy to spot the human players (the ones who use strategy and cover and hold grudges after kills), and human opponents give a more rewarding experience.

The derby event is literally impossible without paying.
