Update: made 4 accounts (total). ALL have access to earning credits and acoins through ads. It's actually a really decent amount too. Main account has zero access to these ads. 

I have pretty much stopped playing the main account due to this. I feel screwed over by not being given the option to earn resources.

Ad bonuses come at the beginning of the game at certain times. Ads are a limited feature.

Mine used to not have them and then one day I just stated getting them, could it be you haven't linked it to a Facebook or Google account yet? That could be the reason

I understand that they are a limited feature but my other account(s) get 20-30k+ credits (not to mention the credits from additional ad based crates), 3 silver crates, and 3 gold crates from ads. That's pretty substantial. At my level, that's enough credits for 1-2 upgrades. My main account only gets crates and credits when my combat points reset. Kind of a significant difference in resources.

My first account had ad bonuses, then they disappeared. But one day they came back again and my 2nd account also had them.

I guess I will just keep waiting. Thanks for the input, guys. It's appreciated 

this is palrium's way to attract new players, scam the old ones and then look for new players, it is important that you spend real money then it will abandon you ... so it has always done, so it will always be.
