Question for community manager

Is it forbidden to give an account of mine away that I no longer want to play? Give not Sell. I'd like to give it away, not sell it.

To whom will you sell it?

I'm not selling it. and I was told by a discord mod that it's forbidden to give any account away so unless a Plarium official says it's ok to GIVE it away, it'll just be dead account.

Hello! According to the rules, it's allowed to use someone else's account having permission from this person. However, selling accounts is prohibited

The Mod on the Official Discord says it's forbidden "either way"

Hello! Your question is quite complicated, so we decided to discuss it within the company and prepare a comprehensive response for you.

Selling Mech Arena accounts is explicitly prohibited, and we do not encourage giving away or sharing accounts. If a player chooses to share their account’s information, it becomes their own responsibility. If a player happens to want to reclaim access to their account after giving it away/sharing, our Support Agents will not be able to assist. Similarly, if our Support Agents find out that a player is using a stolen account, they will not be providing support.

You should be careful with sharing your personal information since your account’s data is confidential information and by sharing access to your account, you give away your personal confidential information.

Here’s an abstract from the official Terms of Use, 2. USE OF THE SERVICE, (g) Registration Data:

  • You may not share your Account or password with anyone, and you agree to (a) notify Plarium immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or any other breach of security.

Ok.. I've decided to just let the MA account die. I'm going to completely delete the email address that the MA account is linked to and hopefully someday your system will recognize that the MA account isn't linked to any email and the MA account will hopefully be deleted. Thanks for your time.
