Verdict on miniguns

So I have been trying out the miniguns. I have them at rank 6, lvl 3 but I think I am going to retire them to inventory. The magazine is huge so it goes forever, but the damage rate is just to slow. I initially had them on a guardian, but that mech can't stand in the open long enough to do damage and with the spin up time this isn't a peek and shoot weapon.

I tried it out on an Ares that can go face to face and it is ok, but even my pulse cannons are more effective.

For this weapon to be viable, the damage rate needs to increase. they should increase damage per round and decrease the magazine size to compensate.

There is an official youtube chanel for this game and they will tell you litteral strategies and tips from real players.

stuff id say on kill shot like using the ability to avoid damage and disengage.

all the pros, all the conns. They go into it like any youtuber will.

if you want to know if your doing it wrong or it's d tier, dont buy it do this, yeah, chances are its litterally there.

skip misile rack six, its not worth it, pulse weapons are good only if you upgrade them with resources and there are better options by late game maybe, but best accuracy if upgraded. Stuff youd expect from non official sources and off the script actual help is all there.

If its crap, good on a mech, only good in niche situations, certain game modes, certain playsyles, all that.

the official youtube chanel is actually good.

Ok, I am changing my tune on the miniguns. I got some 12's and won the pilot, Case, that is specialized for heavy duty weapon type With some miniguns implants. On a tank, these are awesome. I have them on Ares now and I tear through mechs. On the new bastion, these will be great as well (tried the 8s on it, but I can see the potential when the bastion is leveled up to 24 energy). The key is definitely a mech that can fight in the open. I bet a panther would be good as well.
