Disc Launcher Tips & Tricks

Does anyone have any good tips/tricks for disc launcher? 

I am puzzled how some people can shoot me around a corner (90 degrees) but I can't arc my disks around a corner. Yes - the target is locked, they don't seem to curve like I've been hit in some games (I've been hit while fully conceiled behind an object).

Because of the blast radius of the disc can still cause damage, even if they miss you and it hits a wall or object near you it will still damage you.

Using the Vertical Tracking Assist (right option) helps a lot. The Wide Target Assist gives you less control on where you want to hit. 

With that:

- aim for walls if an enemy is near one. Hitting a wall will be able to do back damage with the blast radius.

- If someone is hiding around a corner, aim for the floor just nest to the corner. 

- spray and pray when you don't see anyone. A blast radius can give away the enemies hiding spot.

Nice advice but there is more.

First, don't forget the the official mech arena youtube chanel is basically the same thing as a third party fan studio and will give all the tips and tricks and advice on when to a weapon or mech is better for late game, or mid or ealry and which energy level version, and how many upgrades until is worth it. Also, if you learn all the weapons and mechs and game modes and mechs and weapons with it, you know know about this weapon and when it is good or bad to use it and how.

But besides that,

I have notice a few things

First. Upgrading effects the radius hugely

as for back damage. It has basicaly as small area of effect. It basically like a roccket. Shoot the ground or a team mate, its basically the same thing.

you can also use like normal gun, but you need skill. It shoots slow and the discs focus on a point and go outwards with two guns, so at long ranges one shot (gun) or sacrificng one shot and leading shot skills will work. Its range is long, so dont be afraid to use it unconventionally and hit people accross the map, it has a short relode time.

If you understand bots, in how they unload all their shots, have bad aim for the first few moments while you before having perfect reaction and now better than players

      you know the aim not quite for head when you go behind cover, and the whole aim shinagins can reset if you are not behind cover

       and you know that bots often have targets, or goals, and can straight back to them the second they cant see you (back shot rear armor shot)

    Then that technically counts as great for this gun skill. But then again, this gun is great for shooting from behind cover. You can reset a bots aim abilties to strafe them and waste their ammo with this gun quite easily and do damage.

      You can hit things behind cover (they) but you can push people farther in their placement in cover (or out of cover relative to not you (because they are trying to be behind cover relative to you)) with out exposing youself and your self reacion time not take anny damage from shots.       If you have a team mate, since the thing curves, where they are behind cover is technically both existNt for where they and further backwards away from side you are shooting on, so you end up pushing a bot or player into a sniper shot and you are behind cover because the persons cover counts as cover, and you have more cover, because they shoot in a straight line so you can get far outwards, have have be pushed back, and you can start going back into your cover.

      Be aware that in fire fight your cover is usually the same for you as another person. But thus like explosions and from the sky are things reduce or eliminate the cover. Imigine it like a shadow. there is a straight from the gun, and anything where the projectile would hit a wall is cover behind it. But with weapon the can crpurve, its not true. Its a cruve, or line. So that means they have less cover or smaller cover AND that spot is probably invisible to the.

     When your line of fire means is a curve and theirs is straight, it means that when they are behind cover if you had their gun, they are noth, but you are, and they arent. It means that they cant shoot you, and you can shoot them. So dont necisarily shoot the ground or the wall, is if you hit them, you will do more damage

you actually want to deside whather to actually hit the around the wall, or hit the ground or wall.

     Its best used to put your enemy in a situation that causes them to be destroyed, not  dish damage, and causes them to take damage rather than necisarily trying to damage or destroy them with the weapon.

     You it as a tool and gain synergy with team mates and it will more usefull than if you justtry to strIght up use its dps, as its not a heavy weapon, sort of, and even if, you can do do more damage by keping enemy from doing damage and behind cover than actually shooting them.

     Five on four is probably more potent than shooting a guy for hit points lost. If you distract an enemy, and they loose a guy, they three people doing damage, and you four and maybe you too.

     It might work on bots too, but they think how they think, or dont think.
