This is an old post, but anyway.
Under your Bluetooth settings (accessable by holding down on the Bluetooth toggle button in your notification bar), there is an option to add a new device (Bluetooth has to be on for this).
Press it, and put your controller in pairing mode (the little button above the battery compartment, you'll know it works if the main button on said controller starts flashing).
In the Bluetooth option list you should see 'Xbox One controller' (something like that). Click it, and your controller should connect.
Open the game, and input using the controller. Provided you are in a match (it doesn't work in the hangar), you should see little black text boxes appear next to your firing button.
