the ban hammer swings freely and often here.
most of us just treat it like a game feature. kinda like when you lose youre whole army and have to wait for ever for it to rebuild.
Jumy is the raining champ with a life time ban.
Second place is Roadstar Pitbull with a 30 day ban
im #3 with 20 days.
gadheras and Djmoody are tied in 3rd place.
of course, just like anything else in the game, you can skip all this. spend a ton, become a VIP and not get banned for things you say on the forum. atleast that is what our experience tells us. plarium will argue that last point.
Several people have in the past come to the forum and thought they had been banned and similar because they picked the wrong server and found themselfs back to start.....
I don't know what else was in the original post, but now it offer no context or background to why or what happen, so... kinda pointless...
Mods have no way of knowing whether a particular player has VIP status or not. We ban them the same as we would anyone else if they violate the rules. I don't know if their VIP agent can go into the forum and unban them or something.the ban hammer swings freely and often here.

Just mean the "bot operator" woke up the accounts again right. If they been dormant (away) for a long time, then you get the protection bubble when you get back to the game.BiohazarD said:

Hi there i just received a warning from plarium about third party or something and i will be banned if it happens again..i dont even know what this meansThird party software? Were you running some kind of bot?Chatting about The Master can get you banned - It happened to me, and all I did was try to warn another player to avoid the website
Everyone should get banned occasionally and wear it like a badge of honour
Bots are the only players who can never be permanently banned haha
Instead, they get protection bubbles - this was taken today

So I have served my 30 day time out, but it appears the bug of not being able to start a discussion is still active.
Can a moderator help out. i read elsewhere that a quick second quick ban and reinstatement works, as a work around...
Hello :)
Welcome back to the Forum! Can you please try to start a discussion now?Gadheras said:

Hello! Lord Gadheras is right. If you see a protection on such Castle, it means it wasn't reported before (correspondingly, it wasn't banned from our end) and the owner of this account logged in to the game again.
You're welcome to report such Castles to our Support team: https://plariumsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Some of them were reported, but most of the castles weren't so they're still there.Alina Phoenix said:

Because those LONG LINES Of bots never been reported before? Come on Alina, not even you buy that....
Just remember to spy said bots when the bubble go down they are probably building troops for master to sell!!!How I assume it work. The bot produce units until it cant anylonger due to lack of food. Units get placed at whatever location the customer want them. bot castle goes dormant until need to produce again and food is freed up... maybe some will be supplying iron and gold as resources as part of deals as well, but anyways.

So the customer expectation would be, reported 1 castle in an obvious line of bots and Plarium would alerted to them and kill all the bots.
But Plarium's reality is that Plarium can't be bothered to get off it's collective ass and so customer's have to report every single castle in a line of hundreds if not thousands of bots?
Seriously how difficult is it for Plarium to find the start and end of a chain of bots and delete them all in a batch (given they will have sequential reference numbers). Quick check to ensure no real players got inserted in the middle of the batch.
Even I can code tools to support this and coding isn't anywhere near my line of business, just a side hobby.
I have seen the same bot castles banned by plarium many times, and every time they manage to re-activate
Plarium code is full of holes. It should never be possible for bots to re-activate after 'permanent' banningtoggit said:

There is no visual indication a castle is banned, so how can you see that?
Hello.
The Support team has the rules and protocols according to which they're working with the reports on the accounts sending spam, using programs for the bot accounts, etc. These protocols also determine the time of the ban and the situations when the ban can be removed.
If the account is banned permanently, there is no way a player can overpass this ban and enter the game.
Plus, we regularly ban the automatic check on the servers and ban the accounts created via the help of the programs.
the castles spamming mail of the type "master want to sell you stuff" is not the same castles that provide the troops and resources they sell. The castles used for the actual supplies, is the bot lines and clusters you see around the map. Which been talked about and reported to death basicaly, but still there.... only reason Plarium dont want to do anything with them is they there for "raiding content", which make it quite sad, when they need to be used for such content, it says a lot about the state of the game.Gadheras said:I have had support tell me "thanks for the info, that castle is now banned" (when I reported a castle for spamming letters advertising in game services to be purchased on a website outside the game). I tested to see how "banned" it was by adding it to contacts list and watching. Within 2 weeks of allegedly being banned, that castle changed its name and was spamming again. That tells me that it was either a very short ban or that there is a way to get back in even after being banned.roadstar Pitbull said:I didnt know there was a red flag on a castle with a ban hammer on it, so how can you even tell a castle is "banned" by visual identification?toggit said:There lies the problem, players 'can' get a permanent ban for major infractions, but bot usually see 30 days....djmoody said:

our experience in the game is that the bots are not permanently banned. either your information is wrong, or you are not playing the game server and not seeing the bots come back to life every 30-60 days or so with protection bubble.
in order to keep from getting banned again..... i wont bring up the fact that a few guys from tech support got busted playing on server 1. we'll let that dog sitIronApex Turok said:

i highly recommend that either the CMs or the developers play daily on the game server so that when we tell you these things, you dont give canned answers that contradict what we are seeing. To be fair, if Plarium staff was allowed to play on the server with us, it would only be a matter of time before accusations of favoritism and getting cash only items for free started to roll in. To be honest, I've already heard such allegations, claims that players either have friends/family who work for Plarium (and leverage that for preferential treatment) as well as claims that Plarium gives special in game favors to some big spenders (in addition to the advantage gained through spending). How much worse would it get if we had Plarium staff openly playing the game with us? Just about anything they could do in game would be potentially construed as Plarium favoritism...and known staff members would also likely get overwhelmed with letters, both from people wanting in game help and from people wanting to tell Plarium exactly what they think of them.
