The amount of money spent on the game are secondary. There are much more important factors which are taken into account.

JEZ, JEZ, JEZ......   You know by now it's all about how fast you max your credit card!

oh silly me I forgot .... I won't lie I have spent a bit the past few months but I certainly do not spend what I used to!!! Also if they introduce some of these new tournaments that they have in the other games I will quit spending all together, probably catacomb all my troops and turn off the computer when they run them

Its not about personal stats in-game. I believe the VIP idea is to help plarium behind the scenes and community with game ideas and other stuff, by buying loads of sapphires and emptying your credit card you help only to market.

what about us players been in the game for over 2 years we dont count then  most of us  have seen the worst and best changes in the game  we would be the best help in this game if you want it to carry on 

I been playing 29 months on this server.

I haven't got my special castle skin yet, I will have to remember to ask my VIP liaison about that.

I will take the equivalent in saphs though since I already have a castle skin that i had to get using saphs.

We're working on improvements for our loyalty program, Jezabel.

As for the VIP Skin, it's a reward. It can't be obtained with Sapphires, so I guess it's priceless.

The VIP skin cant be given to VIP until the anniversary of starting to play.

You would think a company with two brain cells to rub together would have at least invited the marshals of major leagues to it's VIP program 

Sometimes it just gets old telling Plarium how to run it's games and avoid shooting itself in the foot.

If you start playing in September and get VIP in October, Then you DON'T get your VIP skin until the following September.

VIP players give feedback about bugs and fixes however any game features feedback is gathered from the community (forum)

Imagine how much LESS crap Plarium would get if they had a focus group of actual players they could run things by, before just drop turds in our laps. 

seriously so you are OK that vip members receive info about updates before release so they can give feedback 

would not you then say they have an advantage that they know about what game features are coming before they are released or announced to others ( remember the beacon thing even though they never get specific dates)
 

 If a random newbie is among the ones? NOPE.... such a group should consist of old timers, with a good grasp of the game mechancis and have hindsight enough to see what changes will affect the sandbox. New players suffer to much from the "oh shiney" syndrome.
