You need to enlighten your Werewolf one time at Rank 5 (or at any Rank, but preferably at Rank 5 max level 30 for extra Emeralds(at level 30 and 35 pays)) to be able to take it to 35. As you did with your Templar and Reaper (pink Rank stars) +1 to the right side after Rank means it has been enlightened once and up to max 5.
