I chose to purchase so I could complete the 5 daily tasks and therefore  get the 8 hr castle defense shield. I don't see it in my inventory. The real point is not if it EVENTUALLY was awarded to me, the point of my question is why did it not immediately show as completed?

???? I think we are misunderstanding one another. There are 5 daily mareth quests. You can choose to complete the task OR you can chose to just pay 100 saphs to instantly complete the task. I chose to instant complete but it did not work.

 I did not buy an item.

My apologies, I see now that I did not activate the mareth auto complete and still have it for a future auto complete. I should have opened my eyes a little more:) Thank-you for trying help, it was I who did not understand:) E.

You are not alone - many, many players have made this mistake - many also expect the rewards from each quest completed, but this has been changed, but we are NOT told this on the Item - https://prnt.sc/kiipmg

The instructions need to be MUCH clearer

Clicking TWICE on the same mareth quest is counter-intuitive

Players will think they are spending another 100 sapphires
