i just fought a technical draw on stage 11 of spirit ( i let it go 40 mins on 2x auto , then i did a forced restart on my device ) . perhaps a turn counter could be added . when limit is reached , a draw is declared with energy refunded and battle ended . otherwise , a player might just let this run forever ( which does nobody any good ) .
