In all honesty, you might want to hold out NOT doing it for now. From what it looks like, you have a pretty new account. Unless of course you're hiding a ton of 60's above or in your bank. Also, it would be nice to know "where" in the game you want to improve at. For instance, Fat Frank there has an ally attack which is nice for dps. However, if you have junk default DPS champs, then he's not so good.

With a new account, it can be hard on resources to balance where to put them. To have a champ really shine, they need to be level 60 AND have their skills + masteries filled out and good equipment on maxed out in levels/attributes. If a champ is level 60 and doesn't have any skills/masteries and their equipment is on average lv12, then it's hard for them to be good. Also, their rank is also important as on average, a legendary champ is going to be better than an epic.

In that reguard, that's why I would told you to hold off for now. Wait a little bit first and see if you get your hands on a legend champ first. Yes, there are some epics that are better than a few legends but pound for pound a legend will be a better 60 than an epic. But I also know that it's hard for a new account to want more 60's. From what I see, you have some alright epic champs but not a real star among them that would improve your account drastically.

I think I'd want Venomage or Hotatsu since both are great choices for a non unkillable CB team. Might go venom since better applications elsewhere but hotatsu does have leech which is great.

Normally I'd point out that venomage can solo dragon and ig 20 with decent regen gear, but between taogar, rector and cat i don't think thats an issue for OP

I don't really know what in doing, this is my first account and I'm 8 or 9 days in, ive gotten alot of recommendations for venomage, seeker, fahrakin and tayrel. Definitely plenty of champions to work on. There are no more champions if you scroll up these are all my epics and legendaries, and Google says there are only a handful of rares worth upgrading. Once I have my main team strong what should be my focus as a new player?

you want to reach campaign 12-3 brutal. that's the best spot for xp farming. Don't worry about 3*ing stages at this point, nor nightmare difficulty, that comes later.

You want to be able to farm stage 20 normal for dragon and spider. Dragon I don;t think you'll have a problem with. Spider might be tricky; the most common strategy is to have an aoe burn champ, preferably with some tm-redux champs as well. armiger is actually pretty good for a tm reducer, literally the only uncommon champ in the game worth building

Imo, you should start on classic arena asap. It sucks, but it's a major long-term investment, great hall bonuses make a huge difference eventually.

The biggest and most important thing to do as early as possible is to get a demon lord team working, long-term thats the absolute best source of shards and books (other than dumping boatloads of money into the game) I think it might actually be too early for you to *focus* on that, but it's very much worth planning ahead for
