Even if you particiapate( and even if you do enough damage to win a chest on lowest difficulty); you still need to get 35+ million to qualify for a Hyrdra Clash reward chest( if your clan places 1, 2, or 3). 

So doing anything less will get you nothing. even though the amount you did  might be the difference between the Clan placing in the top 3. What a joke
